GEA Colby has recently developed a high quality sanitary range of "Loss-in-Weight" (LIW) feed systems for use with powders and granules. These units have been developed to meet the demanding needs of hygienic dosing and powder blending environments of modern manufacturing. They have also been fitted with a number of innovative features to ensure that they can deliver repeatable, high accuracy dosing into a variety of processes such as pneumatic transfer systems and mechanical blenders.
