GEA Colby's largest ever filling system is up and running commercial production at Abbott Singapore.
In 2007 GEA Colby received an order from Abbott Nutrition for multiple can and sachet filling lines including all the associated modified atmosphere packing ("MAP") treatment systems as well as the associated downline equipment required. The huge project has required all of Colby's expertise and project management capabilities to meet the client's high expectations and provide a recognisably "top of class" installation.
The Singapore installation sets the standard for dry infant formula packaging plants.
