Executive Vice President (Finance and Administration) of GEA Niro and in
August 2000 assumed the responsibility of CFO of the Process Engineering
Division.

Systems GmbH in 1998, was appointed Managing Director in 1999, and in 2001
assumed the overall responsibility for GEA’s activities in the brewery and
beverage industries. He was previously Managing Director of APV Germany.
