Colby 3 Chamber Vacuumaster
Colby can supply a complete range of Modified Atmosphere Packing Systems (MAP) for retail packaged products.
We have different products and systems to provide low oxygen environments for sachets, sticks, pouches, cans, jars and bottles. Our systems can use a variety of mixed gasses to replace air and consistently achieve residual oxygen levels of less than 1%.
To do this Colby can use conventional post gassing, in a Colby Vacuumaster, or use our latest Pre-Gassing technology.
The Colby Vacuumaster uses the well known 'vacuum-re gas' cycle to remove oxygen from containers. We can supply low speed, semi automatic single chamber units or high speed multiple chamber units, that run fully automatically.
Colby Pre-Gassing systems are a new technology that use purpose built gas rails to condition empty/full cans with gas, whilst also using a gas flushing chamber above the filling system. This is the first integrated system to provide a cost effective way of producing MAP product in rigid containers for food powders.
